Season 2 (2022-2023) we are grateful for the opportunity to offer both competitive and pre-competitive teams. When signing up for a competitive team, it is assumed that parents and athletes understand and commit to the 9 month season.
Novice Teams
Pre-Competitive
Our novice teams are a great way for kids to enter into competitive sports. Novice teams train September-May and prepare a 1:30 minute routine made up of stunting, tumbling, motions, and dance. The routine will be performed at one competition, but will not be judged. This allows for new athletes to get the experience of performing without the stress of being judged. All novice teams still go through the award ceremonies and get awarded. Novice teams practice for 1+ hours a week.
Prep Teams
Competitive
Prep teams run from September-May and prepare a 2:00 minute routine made up of stunting, tumbling, motions, and dance. Prep athletes practice for 3+ hours a week including a tumbling class and a conditioning. Prep teams will go to 3-5 competitions depending on team commitments. Prep teams are suitable for beginner athletes, but it is expected that athletes and parents take the commitment seriously.
Competitive dance (also known as Performance Cheer) is when dance teams (of various age and styles) compete against each other at a cheerleading competitions. Dance can be a fun add on for cheer athletes, or is a great program for anyone looking to get started in dance!
